Presenteeism is a new term comparatively destructive to Absenteeism. It means that the employees are present at their jobs, however, they find ways to avoid doing their work. This also includes employees that disrupt the work environment which affects other employees. The cost of Presenteeism is hundreds of billions of dollars in North America.
